لَّوْلَآ إِذْ سَمِعْتُمُوهُ ظَنَّ ٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَ وَٱلْمُؤْمِنَٰتُ بِأَنفُسِهِمْ خَيْرًۭا وَقَالُوا۟ هَٰذَآ إِفْكٌۭ مُّبِينٌۭ ﴿١٢﴾

Cuando los creyentes y las creyentes oyeron la calumnia, deberían haberla considerado como en contra de ellos mismos, y haber dicho: \"Esto es una mentira evidente\".
