سورة Al-Qasas ( The Stories ) - English - Yusuf Ali - الآية 44 عدد الآيات 88

وَمَا كُنتَ بِجَانِبِ ٱلْغَرْبِىِّ إِذْ قَضَيْنَآ إِلَىٰ مُوسَى ٱلْأَمْرَ وَمَا كُنتَ مِنَ ٱلشَّٰهِدِينَ ﴿٤٤﴾

Thou wast not on the Western side when We decreed the Commission to Moses, nor wast thou a witness (of those events).
