سورة Al-Baqarah ( The Cow ) - عدد الآيات 286

ثُمَّ عَفَوْنَا عَنكُم مِّنۢ بَعْدِ ذَٰلِكَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ ﴿٥٢﴾

Even then We did forgive you; there was a chance for you to be grateful.
