سورة Al-Baqarah ( The Cow ) - English - Wahiduddin Khan - الآية 34 عدد الآيات 286

وَإِذْ قُلْنَا لِلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةِ ٱسْجُدُوا۟ لِءَادَمَ فَسَجَدُوٓا۟ إِلَّآ إِبْلِيسَ أَبَىٰ وَٱسْتَكْبَرَ وَكَانَ مِنَ ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ ﴿٣٤﴾

When We said to the angels, \"Bow down before Adam,\" they all bowed except for Iblis [Satan]. He refused and acted proudly and became an unbeliever.
