سورة Al-An'am ( The Cattle ) - English - Shakir - الآية 23 عدد الآيات 165

ثُمَّ لَمْ تَكُن فِتْنَتُهُمْ إِلَّآ أَن قَالُوا۟ وَٱللَّهِ رَبِّنَا مَا كُنَّا مُشْرِكِينَ ﴿٢٣﴾

Then their excuse would be nothing but that they would say: By Allah, our Lord, we were not polytheists.
