فَعَصَوْا۟ رَسُولَ رَبِّهِمْ فَأَخَذَهُمْ أَخْذَةًۭ رَّابِيَةً ﴿١٠﴾

and rebelled against their Lord's Messenger. So He took them with a stern taking.
