سورة Al-An'am ( The Cattle ) - English - Qaribullah & Darwish - الآية 42 عدد الآيات 165

وَلَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَآ إِلَىٰٓ أُمَمٍۢ مِّن قَبْلِكَ فَأَخَذْنَٰهُم بِٱلْبَأْسَآءِ وَٱلضَّرَّآءِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَتَضَرَّعُونَ ﴿٤٢﴾

Before you We sent forth to other nations, and then seized them with misery and hardship so that they might humble themselves.
