سورة At-Talaq ( The Divorce ) - English - Qarai - الآية 8 عدد الآيات 12

وَكَأَيِّن مِّن قَرْيَةٍ عَتَتْ عَنْ أَمْرِ رَبِّهَا وَرُسُلِهِۦ فَحَاسَبْنَٰهَا حِسَابًۭا شَدِيدًۭا وَعَذَّبْنَٰهَا عَذَابًۭا نُّكْرًۭا ﴿٨﴾

How many a town defied the command of its Lord and His apostles, then We called it to a severe account and punished it with a dire punishment.
