سورة Az-Zukhruf ( The Gold Adornment ) - English - Maududi - الآية 8 عدد الآيات 89

فَأَهْلَكْنَآ أَشَدَّ مِنْهُم بَطْشًۭا وَمَضَىٰ مَثَلُ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ ﴿٨﴾

We utterly destroyed them although they were greater in might than these. The examples of ancient peoples have gone before.
