سورة Al-Baqarah ( The Cow ) - English - Maududi - الآية 34 عدد الآيات 286

وَإِذْ قُلْنَا لِلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةِ ٱسْجُدُوا۟ لِءَادَمَ فَسَجَدُوٓا۟ إِلَّآ إِبْلِيسَ أَبَىٰ وَٱسْتَكْبَرَ وَكَانَ مِنَ ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ ﴿٣٤﴾

Then We commanded the angels, \"Bow yourselves to Adam. \"All bowed but Iblis refused to do so; he waxed proud and joined the defiers.
