فَأَهْلَكْنَآ أَشَدَّ مِنْهُم بَطْشًۭا وَمَضَىٰ مَثَلُ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ ﴿٨﴾

We destroyed people more powerful than they, and so the example of the ancients has passed away.
