سورة Az-Zukhruf ( The Gold Adornment ) - English - Arberry - الآية 8 عدد الآيات 89

فَأَهْلَكْنَآ أَشَدَّ مِنْهُم بَطْشًۭا وَمَضَىٰ مَثَلُ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ ﴿٨﴾

so We destroyed men stronger in valour than they, and the example of the ancients passed away.
