سورة Ar-Ra'd ( The Thunder ) - English - Arberry - الآية 32 عدد الآيات 43

وَلَقَدِ ٱسْتُهْزِئَ بِرُسُلٍۢ مِّن قَبْلِكَ فَأَمْلَيْتُ لِلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ ثُمَّ أَخَذْتُهُمْ ۖ فَكَيْفَ كَانَ عِقَابِ ﴿٣٢﴾

Messengers indeed were scoffed at before thee, and I respited the unbelievers; then I seized them -- and how was my retribution?
