وَءَاخَرُونَ مُرْجَوْنَ لِأَمْرِ ٱللَّهِ إِمَّا يُعَذِّبُهُمْ وَإِمَّا يَتُوبُ عَلَيْهِمْ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ عَلِيمٌ حَكِيمٌۭ ﴿١٠٦﴾

And some are kept waiting for Allah’s command – He may punish them or accept their repentance; and Allah is All Knowing, Wise.
