سورة Al-A'raf (The Heights ) - English - Ahmed Ali - الآية 4 عدد الآيات 206

وَكَم مِّن قَرْيَةٍ أَهْلَكْنَٰهَا فَجَآءَهَا بَأْسُنَا بَيَٰتًا أَوْ هُمْ قَآئِلُونَ ﴿٤﴾

Many a habitation have We laid low before: Our retribution came upon them in the night or in the midst of siesta at noon.
