سورة Qaf ( The Letter Qaf ) - English - Ahmed Ali - الآية 36 عدد الآيات 45

وَكَمْ أَهْلَكْنَا قَبْلَهُم مِّن قَرْنٍ هُمْ أَشَدُّ مِنْهُم بَطْشًۭا فَنَقَّبُوا۟ فِى ٱلْبِلَٰدِ هَلْ مِن مَّحِيصٍ ﴿٣٦﴾

How many generations have We destroyed before them who were mightier in power than they. Then they searched throughout the land to see if there was a way of escape.
