سورة Al-Hujurat ( The Dwellings ) - English - Ahmed Ali - الآية 5 عدد الآيات 18

وَلَوْ أَنَّهُمْ صَبَرُوا۟ حَتَّىٰ تَخْرُجَ إِلَيْهِمْ لَكَانَ خَيْرًۭا لَّهُمْ ۚ وَٱللَّهُ غَفُورٌۭ رَّحِيمٌۭ ﴿٥﴾

If they had waited for you to come out it would have been better for them. But God is forgiving and kind.
