سورة Al-Baqarah ( The Cow ) - English - Ahmed Ali - الآية 73 عدد الآيات 286

فَقُلْنَا ٱضْرِبُوهُ بِبَعْضِهَا ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ يُحْىِ ٱللَّهُ ٱلْمَوْتَىٰ وَيُرِيكُمْ ءَايَٰتِهِۦ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَعْقِلُونَ ﴿٧٣﴾

We had pronounced already: \"Slay (the murderer) for (taking a life).\" Thus God preserves life from death and shows you His signs that you may understand.
