Surah Sad ( The Letter Sad ) - Aya count 88

كَمْ أَهْلَكْنَا مِن قَبْلِهِم مِّن قَرْنٍۢ فَنَادَوا۟ وَّلَاتَ حِينَ مَنَاصٍۢ ﴿٣﴾

How many a generation have We destroyed before them, and they [then] called out; but it was not a time for escape.
